Moinho do Maneio

A life project, born from a passion and the desire to return to our roots, to return to "the land." An ancient water mill we restored and transformed into a shared space, with comfort, authenticity, and simplicity. A small village, as they tell us, where every detail matters: wool blankets, comforters, words on stones that make us think, the simple and direct connection to the nature surrounding us.

We are on the edge of the Serra da Malcata Nature Reserve, in the countryside, 8 km from Penamacor and 55 km from Castelo Branco. We are next to the Historic Villages of Monsanto or Sortelha, and just a hop away from Serra da Estrela or the most beautiful Villages of Spain.

We have shale cottages that take us back in time, we have animals, a fantastic river, peaceful and comforting landscapes, and the guarantee that you will rest and recharge. Because here, Nature rules. And we obey. Simple.
